Welcome to Berlin

For the 2027 Annual Congress, the UEP will return to one of the birthplaces of phoniatrics: Berlin’s Charité. It was here that Hermann Gutzmann Sr. completed his habilitation in 1905 and subsequently assumed one of the first academic positions in the discipline. At this historic venue, we are preparing an outstanding scientific programme featuring renowned speakers from across the field. Through a range of interactive discussion formats, we will explore innovative research findings and the latest developments in diagnostics and therapy across the diverse field of phoniatrics.

The congress will take place in the heart of Berlin on the historic campus of the Charité. In addition to a stimulating scientific programme, participants will have the opportunity to experience Berlin’s rich cultural heritage and explore the vibrant city centre, all within walking distance.
